Hello!

I'm so glad you made it to my site. Here's the bottom line:

Making music makes us happy.

Science says we're all wired for music.  That means your child, your grandchild, spouse, YOU have the capacity to learn music.  And I believe we're happier humans when we do.

Every student is different, and every lesson is different.  I have a student-centered approach and a low-stress practice policy.  Sometimes we all need a push, and I give it when needed.

​

I have Bachelor and Master's degrees in Music Education from Murray State University.  I've been teaching lessons for over 15 years. 

​

My students often study with me for years and many move on to play other instruments.  Many of my students have auditioned for and have been accepted to performing arts schools.

​

My home base is in Louisville, Kentucky, US, but my students live across the United States and Europe.
